Enjoyed watching you race JT and loved being at Brands Hatch watching you take the double on your way to the second WSBK title.
While it must be so bad for you to be forced out of racing, you have so much to offer in and out of racing. We will all look forward to seeing you at the races or on the TV and hearing about your band.

I would like to see him straight in the commentary booth. BBC would be good but not with either of the two idiots there now. He wouldn't be able to build a conection with the washed up old man or the "That's shot the fox, knightmare in a bubble car" idiots on there now. So my vote would be go join Hayden, Whit, Tony and Jack on Eurosport!

Actually, one idea, him and Hodgeson replace BBC lineup. They have both been very informative and funny and on the ball when it comes to commentating!!!

A mate of mine raced against him in the Honda 500cc cup and was convinced he was cheating as he was so much better than everyone else. When he won his 2nd WSB title with Ten Kate in 2007 (he was awesome that year!) I asked said mate if he still thought JT had cheated... "Nah, I just made me realise how ****e I was and how good he was! Boy, he's good!"

JT has come for a lot stick on this site, but to some of us, he's been a fantastic rider, a real gent and will be missed!

Good luck in the future JT, you have many fans that are real disappointed at hearing this news. Good luck fella!

As Gaz said, rather surprised he hasn't sought out additional opinions like Dr. Ting in California. I'dve thought he would have been on the phone to Hopper straightaway. Hopkins suffered from limited range of motion for a year after healing up from his wrist injury until one last surgery and rehab put him right. Just seems awfully quick to pull the plug. It's a shame.
