when I hear Nurburgring I see Edwards slides on his VTR1000 slamming track workers and judges and now Toseland crashing which ended up his career. On BMW. German anything is really not a WSBK friendly.

I wonder if there is anyway modify a bike so JT could still race? Maybe move the throttle to the left handle bar? As a pianist I reckon his left hand control might be pretty good. Doohan used a thumb lever for the rear break. Maybe other things could be 'shuffled around' and changed? Worth thinking about maybe.

@brit, nah mate if ya read his statement he mentions that its throttle control and right hand turns, if he cant turn the bike right properly cos of lack of strength then.... game over, its a shame but let it go JT i think after motogp the love for it all kinda died , his stats are interesting tho, clearly not the quickest rider out there (pole positions)but obviously a great racer!

Great rider, great career! JT has acheived more than most and im sure many many riders would be happy to acheive even one title, let alone two.

Good luck for the future JT, what ever you decide to do. You should be proud of your career thats for sure!

If he's a flop, then so many other riders would also be flops wouldnt they. You can at least show some respect for his achievements.
I don't know ANY other currently racing Brits with achievements that come close to JT's. What does thay say about them?
