The title-elect was a strong three tenths up on Leon Haslam in what was an otherwise close session amongst his rivals.

Or conversely, its up to the other manufacturers to build a bike that will go round corners?
But credit where its due, Charlie Checa is riding exceptionally well this season, its not just the bike.

When you only have one bike that can go round corners the series is pretty **** imo

At least with stoner you're watching a great rider on a great biker. No one wants to see an 'average' rider in the twilight of his career waltzing off into the distance every weekend

Some stats to ponder viz @ viz Stoner & Checa..

Stoner 14 races, 8 wins, 57% success rate
Checa 20 races, 11 wins, 55% " "
Stoner 13 podiums, 93% success rate
Checa 16 podiums,80% " "
Stoner 9 poles, 64% " "
Checa 5 poles, 25% " "
Stoner 6 fastest laps, 43% " "
Checa 7 fastest laps, 35% " "

2nd in Motogp has 85% of Stoners points
2nd in WSB has 80% of Checa's points

The next Ducati is in 8th, 237 points behind Checa, the next Honda behind Stoner is 3rd & there are 3 Honda's in the top 4.
So Stoner/Honda is more dominant yet thats more acceptable? Or is it just prejudice against Ducati in WSB that's the problem?
