& that, ladies & gents, is why Johnny Rea will never win a championship.

Even if he hadn't fallen off, he'd have been penalized for the jump start.

totaly agree. Rea must learn to be a winner uou need to stay upright. from what i could see his front wheel was over the line before the flag marshall had left the line up even before his jump start. always was dodgy even from his school boy motox days.

Oh i dont know,a certain mr Checa used to crash that often he earned the nickname chucker-difference was, he was slow also..Anyone else that rides this honda falls off a lot,without being even remotely competitive,so i wouldnt be too hasty in judgement yet..

dw ,i did not know he was given a jump start by race control,or maybe its one you want to give him with all your wisdom and know it all bullchit,its more like this flybywire throttle aint 100 per cent workin yet

You'll find it is quite difficult for race control to hang out a flag for a rider that is no longer circulating.
Chances are he won't see it - unless he walks back to the pits on the racing line & past the pit entry.

I think Rea retired at the 14th lap. If race direction wanted to give him a penalty for jump start, they would gave it to him a lot earlier.
Maybe you watched too much GP :)
