The Australian has been a stalwart of the WSBK grid since 1994, but will now hang up his leathers after Portimao.

i still asking myself why the last year he was on fire and what change in BMW this year, seeing he so down...hat off to you, awesome style & attitude...go in "pace"

What sad news. What a great champion and racer he is. I will miss you Troy. I have been watching you race since your Aussie 250 proddie days. Won championships in AUS,USA,UK and the world. All the best for the future and good luck with what ever you do.

good on ya troy. thanks for the memories. one time pole position master. i will don my #3 aprilia racing shirt later on today. and with that, 2011 sees motorbikes sustain YET ANOTHER blow. 2 now under the watch of BMW. no worries, everything's just peachy. roll on attrition and contraction.
