WSBK » Sykes hints at Kawasaki renewal

Sykes: We all know where we need to be and the team has a very good understanding of what I need from the bike.

Bit of a strange situation, but even Kawasaki can now not deny that Vermeulen hasn't brought what they had hoped for and that stability is a good thing when developing a new bike. I hope Sykes stays, as demonstrated by his win at the Ring when all things are equal he's among the best of them.

they need to sort the suspension out so it doesn't jump up out of control on the brakes and sort a setup out that will make Toms tyres last the full race.

sorry but if Vermeulen cannot develop the new bike was because he is not racing, (something about a multi break knee)bad lcuk, i like very much Vermeulen,
of course i hope too that Sykes still with official Kawasaki...lets see

How on earth does any of this suggest a 'renewal'? Absolutely nonesense.

Because unlike a lot of numpty's on here Kawasaki know just how good Sykes really is. Just wait until he gets the full backing of the "factory team"

Just 1 rider between them and Sykes has had DNF's not always his fault just like the 2nd race at Portimao !

Sykes has done all the development work this year & most races his bike has been totally different from its last outing even big changes between practice and race (all part of development), team mate however has had (Sykes)tried and tested settings. how would any of us fare going into the 1st corner from a start not knowing exactly how the bike will re-act ?
With all the data gathered this year Lascorz and Sykes will be a formidable team especially now Sykes will have a full Factory team and crew for 2012.

Wishful thinking Tom if you think your going to keep your ride, just ask Walker and Malandri on that one! Money talks, the rider comes second to Kawasaki. Hope your soon sorted
