Is that Libarty-Barni set-up with Berger official? Think it will be Elias, maybe Baiocco or Polita (I heard Petrucci fall out of Ducati's favour altough he could be the best suitable choice).

@ ricky

I think Checa will be the only one to get a factory bike (maybe Giugliano but I'm not sure), Ducati even hesitated to give the support to him, the one who won 3/5 of the races!

Guinters is quick on the Ducati. Phillip island injuries destroyed his 2011 campain. Bring on 2012!

@ Ben1! I read that in the official wsbk site. Title: New rider-machine combinations on show at Portimao test. Hre you can read this: "Effenbert Liberty Racing Ducati put their new rider Maxime Berger out on this big twin, and gave Canadian rider Brett McCormick track time as well.".

@ Tarzaan

Yes I saw it too but didn't read at anywhere else, so I wasn't sure. It isn't clear though that he will be in the usual Liberty team, or at the Barni one (although I think they will keep Smrz next to Guintoli, he is Czech and fast too, so at least a third bike will be needed).
