If the GSE thing is right and not saying it is then they would be a shoe in for the Yam's, looks like there is already a lot of Ducati's on the grid. That would be awesome to see two British teams in WSB

Very pleased to have this news confirmed.

I also hope that Yoshimura and GSE are on the grid next year - Yoshimura with Waters, GSE with Camier and Byrne. I presume Tommy Hill will be on one of the Crescent Suzukis.

Apparently Ducati wanted Checa too switch teams to Effenbert Liberty for cost reasons and Guintoli was due to sign for Crescent Suzuki, but when Ducati came up with a deal to pay Checas wages direct, Guintoli was re-signed by Liberty.

re: "Good news, but If the Suzuki couldn't give factory support to their world championship-winning team (Alstare), why would they give it to Crescent?"

that's what i'm screamin'. crescent's got cred, but alstare's got even MORE cred AND gave hammamatsu a world championship ta boot. in anything other than "bizarro world" this should mean something.

Where is Mr. C. Vermulan these days? Bringing 'Josh Brooks' in WSBK is also a good option. Again Loris is also retiring from Moto GP so may be he can bring some money to the Suzuki WSBK team.
