if the weight change was a major factor in this decision what chance of checa defending his title? bet that bmw offer looks like carlos should of took it!

Ummm not sure about this yeah its a great bike but Chaz could have the same issues as Leon Camier due to his size, but he did come up through the GP 125 and 250 ranks so knows how to keep the corner speed up and the 'Prilla is about the same size as his 2009 R6 he just won the title on so i may be wrong and he may fly on it I do hope so as I rate Chaz

I don't think anybody saw this coming! Next year is getting even more interesting. I'd like to see the man do well. I'm not that sure his size will be that much of a problem, he did pretty well on a ancient R6 and they're hardly huge bikes and the class would perhaps favour smaller, lighter riders. It'll be more important as to whether his style suits the thing. He's got a fair amount of experience nowadays so I think he should be able to figure the thing out.
