As a Grinner fan and Kawa rider I'm more than pleased, but, this is the last year that Tom can afford to only do well as WSBK level, he's got to stop fading during the race and put some sparkle into his performance. If he's not regularly fighting for podiums next season and learning to manage his tyres, the team bosses may stop noticing him. Luckily he's got the guts and talent to do it.

"If he's not regularly fighting for podiums next season and learning to manage his tyres."

But is it the rider or the bike? If the chassis set up required to get decent lap times also eats tyres, the only alternative is to go slower at the beginning to give the tyres an easier time - so by the end of the race he'd be just as far from the front as before. Hopefully the bike will improve next season as it's still in the relatively early stages of development.

Both these guys deserved to have another crack for 2012, really hope they can find that last little bit they need to challenge for top 3's on a regular basis. As for CV, I'm a long time fan but I think he'll be lucky if he picks up a ride in the Botswana Cup.

Sykes and Lascorz both deserve a second crack at things. Kawasaki this was a smart move cuz I was writing your loyal points off.

Now for 2012
