Tell me what pace equals if not fastest lap times? Thats exactly what pace is and hopfully lots of them in a row!

...anyway, nice to see Eugene back at the front. With a good PACE!

Both Leon Haslam and Camier now have team mates who are known to be fast so there can be no hiding or excuses. It almost doesn't matter how fast they are in absolute terms, because if they are faster than their team mates they will always look good. I was a bit worried that Leon Haslam would meet his match in Melandri, but so far he's doing me proud. Now Leon Camier has just got to stay ahead of Hopper.

Times of Haslam and Melandri relative to one another mean little yesterday though, as Leon's fastest time was set on new, soft rubber, while Melandri spent the whole day working through setup options (and with only one bike). They'll be a lot closer than that under equal conditions.

Dannyboy, what pcxmac i think meant was "race" pace
which is as you said lots and lots in a row. MM isnt stupid, you'll see that when it comes to an actual race or at some point in testing a race simulation. Haslam is doing what he normally does riding around as fast as he can then come race bleeting on about tyre degrigation. Camier will slow start too but you'll find it will be a simiar storey with him, fast later on.
Thinking riders ie riders with interlect always end up with championships, the other type....always nearly.
