Cracking bloke and great rider. With more luck on his side would have been way further ahead career wise than he is. Reckon he will still get there,no problem. Good luck Gwinters

If alstare can't do much with the Suzuki I really can't see denning and his merry men achieving much either especially if their moto gp exploits were anything to go by I really hope I am wrong but I give 2 seasons before they are running back to bsb

You do remember John Hopkins being on pole position for Crescent Suzuki at the Silverstone WSBK round, ok he only finished 5th and 7th (both times 11secs off the winner) but the WSBK races are longer than BSB and with proper testing and experience of WSBK race tyres and conditions they will improve.

I'm sure Mr Denning and his merry men will have the skills to get up the front. Pole at Silverstone with a BSB spec bike and also never using the WSB Tyres was no mean feat. With a little investment and testing in WSB conditions they will be up near top 5 for sure. They have the right riders on the GSXR. I would imagine the Moto GP thing is totally seperate too. Diferent staff, riders etc so no, not any thing to go on. Good luck boys. Show the World scene what a British team can do.

The key thing for Crescent will be the Japanese guys (Yoshimura) that are tuning the engine. They never had that last year, and it might make the difference for making the bike a step up from it's BSB counterpart.

If anyone can get extra ponies out of the GSXR 1000 Then Yoshimura can.
I expect Crescent Yoshimura to be challenging for honours from the word go especially with John Hopkins on board.

Cant really compare Alstare to Crescent.... completely different partnerships, riders, managers, crew chiefs.... Alstare lost the heart to win, once Crescent suzuki get their new team working together and Leon used to the bike, it will be a competitive race winning team. The team is definitely capable of winning, bring on 2012!!
