"The most important task before Christmas... to create with Gigi Dall Igna my new team in order to attack the 2012 World Championship" - Max Biaggi.

Tantrums and sulks do not endear a rider to his team. No-one in GP will employ Max because of his attitude and behaviour so it is no surprise that his WSB crew have jumped ship. I'll also guess that Aprilia's patience is growing thin with Max having taken so long to agree terms for 2012. So, I think this is the year they will nurture their promising young rider, Laverty, and let Max stew in his own juices. I predict Laverty will be consistently faster than Max, get better results than Max, and finish the season higher than Max. And that will mean Max is out at the end of 2012, and Laverty is team leader for 2013.

@ TETLEY. I must agree with you. The only thing I dont like is predictions lets just wait for the results then we have facts. Posted by Mr Logic.
I'm OK with that Mr L- I'm happy to wait and see how they fare through the season. But the facts so far show Eugene faster in testing, which in itself is not conclusive, but Max should be getting worried when a novice records better times. It looks to me like Eugene's carreer is on the up, while Max's is about to decline.

Not to say I believe there was any favoritism towards biaggi, since on the outside nobody can really be sure but:

Remember that a difference in support from the team doesn't always have to mean better parts, equipment and machinery. There are other types of favoritism, such as better personnel, more time with the teams engineers, data, etc.

So even if the bikes were identical, that doesn't mean the team environment was identical.

@spoilt child, sorry my friend but i suggest that its you that should go and check the facts. Its been widely reported that Biaggi had superior support from day 1. Camier even stated this on live TV and thats when he was still with the team.

And whats all this about 'Eugene told me'. Leave it out. So they stripped Camiers bike and they could somehow tell that it was identical to Biaggi's,without stripping biaggi's down too? Hahahahaha, dont make me laugh buddy!
