“He is a threat, definitely, but I've been brought in to try and be the future of Aprilia and I want to win the championship, as does he” - Eugene Laverty

Laverty impressed me last season, he will surely win some races on the Aprilia. Can't wait for Max to go away (for good this time) cause I'd rather see young talent with a chance to show what they've got on a competitive machine. Here's hoping Eugene smashes Max in 2012

I do not understand people who say they want Max to go away. Why would you want a rider who is atop his game to leave...because he is older? really. As a true race fan I would think people want to see the fastest riders on the grid not some "maybe" newbie yet to prove himself. I am not saying the new/young riders should not get a chance but saying that Max should leave is like saying Checa should hang it up now as well. I do not like Biaggi but he has earned his place on the grid and hope he stays until he can no longer fight for the front positions. Good luck Eugene!!! I think this guy is the future champ...maybe not 2012 but I expect more than he did in 2011.

Ok, some people get too serious. I don't want Max to retire for real, I'm just rooting against him. I usually root for any underdog (Spies!) like Eugene will be as Max's teamate. Hey, you're not gonna cry are you?

LAVERTY QUOTE:“He is a threat,
YES HE (max) IS. BUT REMEMBER
THERES PLENTY MORE TO WORRY ABOUT
NOT JUST MAX. ALTHOUGH IT IS GOOD
TO DO YOUR TEAM MATE.AND EUGENE
WILL FIND OUT QUICK THATS ALL MAX IS.
CAUSE MAX HAS NO MATES
