Niall McKenzie said on Twitter he had heard from a reliable source that Nori could be heading to BSB on a Ducati. I don't know if this will happen or not so I'm not reading too much into it. I would love to brush shoulders with the great man at Knockhill though!!!

Hey, I like that idea, Nori and Yami one last shot!

A sad exit if final, but the man gave me many, many years of entertainment and was always a threat.

re: "Kodster ya lately some M1 tech were incorporated into R1"

just some...?

re: "and even sometimes M1 benefitted something from engine mods in WSBK-R1"

sorry, the R1 had it's 5 valve head dropped from developments learned with the M1.

re: "Also its the R1 which created the M1"

except it was basically the YZR500 chassis to start with and M1 was NOT a spin on the "R1" moniker, it stood for "#1" in the new "Millenium".

Thanks for all the memories Nori if you aren't coming back, the last few seasons were tough for your fans, it looked as though your heart wasn't in it after 2009....

And guess what, like most others, as much as we wanted you to have some titles to your name, we couldn't really give a damn.... just want to keep seeing your riding style out there!

At least I have my Haga rep helmet!
Ganbarimasu, I hope you can get involved in the paddock, or getting more exposure for other Japanese riders...

Sharmanon, isnt it so that R1 was created before M1 and CBR1000RR existed before RC211V and ZX-10R was there before ZX-RR was created? More than chasis 4stroke inline-4 is what matters.
