Like all Ducati's it'll have the postcode on the inside of all the panels so they can be posted back to the owner when the fall off :p

In all seriousness, it's a great looking thing like most Dukes (Multistrada and 999 aside)

Can't really have too many complaints, it's a pretty great looking bike. The red framework just below the seat/tank is a particularly nice detail.
Shame they couldn't go for the all-red look, but it's those graphics the sponsors are paying all that money for.

Doesn't have the courage to ride with the number 1 plate Shay?

Like when he was crashing his brains out learning to ride an NSR500?

Or pushing Dunlop's MotoGP tires to the hilt on the Tech3?

Or getting straight up after a HUGE get off at Phillip Island in '06 then putting the GP6 Duke on the front row, then a podium?

You can level a number of criticisms at this man, lack of ticker is not one of them.

Go Carlos!

Of course it's a beautiful bike, it's Italian! And will it be the bike to beat in 2012? I should think so, it's hardly likely that it will be slower than the 2011 bike. Last year the Ducati was not the fastest down the long straights but its handling was not equalled on the twisty bits and Checa's ability allowed him to take advantage to the fullest extent. He undoubtedly deserved to be champion and I think he will be the man to beat in 2012.

We start the season with high expectations, having won in both the Superbike and Superstock categories last year.

No doubt.
Superbike and Superstock 1000 series but on a V2 1198.

Note the key here term here. One Thousand ... 1000cc ... race series.

Again, how can anybody realistically determine what is fair trying to equalize a V2 against an I4 by increasing displacement by 'x' cc?

It's complete BS.

looks like they have a sponsor that reflects the speed of the duke, although they have missed the L off of the end... SNAI(L)...

without Carlos riding the nuts off it, it would not of won anything! this year it will be further behind (development wise) so Carlos will have his work cut out!
