Great to see both Kawa's up there and Haslam ahead of Melandri. Just hope that Checa doesn't run away with it this season. Nothing against Checa, it's just that I like a bit of racing.

I, for one, have been a Kawasaki fan through thick and thin.
As much as I am a Kawasaki fan, I am a Sykes fan. I think he's done for Kawasaki what no other rider has done in a long time. And probably looks like the best possibility to win a championships since Scott Russel.

Wishing them the best of luck. And Lascorze looking quick too... Here's hoping for the best.

Great to see the Sykes and the green bike doing well. If that's using race rubber it's a very encouraging sign. He's a second quicker than he managed in any of the races there last year, i'd call that pretty good progress. No doubt Max and Carlos will up the ante a bit more tommorow so it'll be interesting to see if he can hang on to them.

If the Duke doesnt do a runaway this might be a great championship.
Hoping Laverty does the business and if Aprilia produce a decent CRT or decide to develop a proper factory motogp prototype then Laverty will have a seat in motogp in 2013 or 2014.

its only testing, but good to see max already on the pace. i hope the grinner can keep this up, but history says otherwise .always goes backwards in 2nd part of race. hope he can sort that out. laverty has to beat his teamate ,before he thinks of winning anything, remember that E AND ALL YOU LAVERTY SUPPORTERS

I'm not bothered by Camier's "lack of pace." Hopper would probably have been higher up the timing sheets if he hadn't taken a tumble. John is more familiar with the GSX-R than Leon after having raced the Crescent machine in BSB last year. Camier will come good. It should be pointed out that the Suzuki's are still using motors with minor modifications. Yoshimura will be sending some more engines directly to Phillip Island. These should arrive in time for the first practice sessions and are of a higher specification in readiness for the races. I fully expect the Gixxers to feature prominently and put the cat amongst the pigeons when the real serious stuff beginss. As far as the title title is concerned and barring any mishaps, it will most likely be a straight fight between the Althea Duke and the two Aprilias. I can't see any other contenders seriosly challenging Checa, Biaggi & Laverty consistently over the course of the season.
