Eugene Laverty is feared to have suffered an injury during testing at Phillip Island with just over a week until the start of the 2012 World Superbike Championship season.

Man, I hope the racing season starts soon so that the riders can be safely racing round the circuits. The off season is just too dangerous! Hope Norge is OK, he was one of the real dark horses.

@ Nick636 - No idea who's head those hats are supposed to fit because they are far too big on everybody and look blooming ridiculous!!
I hope Eugene is OK as it is going to be a real disaster if he has to miss the start of the season. What's going on with all these broken bits before we even start!!!!!

What is up with these riders,are they getting complacent with their special back/chest protectors and their armured gloves etc.It almost feels like when they introduced seat belts you had certin people who thought they couldn't get hurt if they wore one.
Perhaps they are just not as tough as the old school .
Any way I wish them all a speedy recovery and good health.

tough at the top,hope he is fit enough to start the race,even to bag a handful of points,be hard to claw back 50 points on checa after one round,no points for goin fast in testing,and crashing
