He didn't look comfortable all day. A couple of laps then back into the pits for quite a while then out to repeat the process. I will put my money on Laverty for at least one race win if he is fit to ride. I hope it is mtot as hot as today, I don't think the tyres will last race distance.

If he gets that bike how he wants it he is a very real threat for the win here.
He is very fast round this track.

Another fast Aussie round here is Davo Johnson, who has put in good times, with a stock engine.

Hopkins settings??

I doubt that bike had any setup on it, since Hopper
crashed before setting a time.

That's the first excuse Josh, next.....

"I've been in the UK for so long now that Philip Island
feels like a different track"

Arn't some people going to look stupid when Brookes qualifies in the top 5 and an finishes close to the podium. His most recent race at Philip Island was at the classic meet a couple of weeks ago where he was very fast on the old bikes (apart form the one he completely destroyed).

And Hopper does have completetly different style to Brooked so saying he is using this as an excuse just shows ignorance of the sport. Handlebars and footpegs need adjusting. The amount of movment in the pedals and levers. The gear ratios. The amount of damping and steering angle. All are individual choices of the riders and the bike arrived at the track with Hoppers prefered settings.

Considering Hopper put in 6 laps on a very USED tyre I doubt he had adjusted any settings for that track. Maybe his footpegs and handlebars were to his specs but nothing else.
So according to your estimations and after his specs are on bike we should see Brooksie in the top 5 today then.....can't wait!!
