Dissing Brookes is pretty silly. Just remember he thrashed the regulars in WSS at PI a few years ago. He will be up front on race day. On another topic...the Kawasaki sounds brilliant when accelerating down the straight and under engine breaking. It has a snarl the others don't have.

Forgot to mention...Brookes is pretty sore after his highside at MG yesterday. He was bleeding quite a lot from a large gash. I don't know how comofrtable he was today. He seemd to moving around on the change of directions ok. Seemed to lose out coming onto the straight, like he couldn't get the power down.

Let us celebrate Sykesy putting a poorly regarded machine in front - you cant fault the guy - he is a charger and deserves credit if only for keeping smiling when the Kawa has so often not been the package.
Interesting to see the "old " Ducatis still work so well - ya cant re-invent the wheel.
Plus Melandri shows his class - Philip Island is always an outrider but a classic track where the rider counts - pity more European tracks cant be as good
Blame Formula One and TV companies for strangling many great tracks over the years.
Roll on Sunday and get well Laverty/Haslam/Hopper et al - this should be a great year....forget GP that will be Stoners.
