@SumpRat - Yes it is Giugliano's first visit to PI - so mighty impressive from him, but Checa had an off earlier in proceedings so may have paced himself a bit in this session.

Look at Bryan Staring - excellent considering his machinery.

Rea - carrying on from where he left off towards the end of last season once he got the fly by wire throttle.

ahh see old sparky 62 is back on ,as usual making excuse for(outta his depth) brookes,suzuki aint doin this etc,why is camier on the same bike, not down in 20 th place mate with brookes,i mean josh is falling off(over his limit)tryin to get into the top 20,admit it sparky the guys a natural club racer,HE will never meet sparkys prediction of top six here on sunday,haaa haaa haw haw fk me

@Sweeble - Yes - I know it's very early days, but so far for Aoyama it's looking less like a springboard back to MotoGp and more like an invitation to BSB in 2013!

Perhaps J Rea really is just that good that all his team mates look like like also rans!

Rea is surely one of the brightest young superbike stars in last decade but we need more guys like him instead of old ex-MotoGP riders!

Giugliano's lap is fantastic. Would be fun if he finished the race ahead of the world champion.

Haslam is injured. I suppose he can barely walk with a screw in his leg. I think there is no point in racing if he won't qualify into Superpole.

someone said that time wudda put rea 9th on motogp grid? well a sorted crt honda should be faster than a wsbk? get him on one as a wild card somewhere. ffs luke leon got a broken leg, wise up
