I think the One Bike Rule has quite a bit to do with the times being slower than testing. If they crashed in testing it was kinda ok, but consequences are higher on race weekends. I think they'll turn up the heat in superpole.

Nobody uses qualifiers outside superpole. That would be stupid considering the limited number at their disposal.
Qualifiers are 0.5-1s faster than the softer race tires, no way he did that time with a quali tire.
