Go Sylvain! Great ride. Melandri was great too (come on Leon Haslam, Melandri is new to this bike and he trounced you!)

Sykes did good. Knew the pole position wouldn't produce a win, but he hung in there.

Great to be watching live bike racing again. Time for another Strongbow. Gonna be a long lie-in tomorrow...

Haslam has a broken leg, of course Melandri was going to beat him! That said, Melandri should have also out-qualified him, but that was a particularly excellent performance by him to get second from 13th.

As well as the obvious, I was impressed by Smrz, Berger, Aoyama and even Zanetti in that race.

Bad luck for Camier too, that was a rude attempt at a pass by Giugliano...

Other than max disappearing at the front, WHAT A RACE! Though Sykes did slip back, it was a positive result! At a track that was destroying tyres, he managed to fight off a duc at one of the most ducati suited tracks! Had a gr8 fight with guintoli. I think there will be good things to come! Great race from melandri! And i have to agree, i said before the season started that i think melandri will take BMW's first win. And i think even when he's fit, haslam wont beat him too often.
