re: "Unfortunately, as we all know, this intention was not fulfilled successfully for various reasons. At this point, the possibility has vanished completely"

of course it has. the reason being because you dolts failed to take the the time to get permission from the "boss"... ie. kim and the kids.

re: "The Australian, who briefly tried V8 Supercar racing, continues to test sporadically for Ducati, fuelling rumours of a comeback."

none of which have any basis in reality. the "kitchen pass" issued by the mrs. was limited to developing the panigale. he's had his time, it's now joeys time.

McCormick did ride the bike last year with decent results. He is also the Canadian SBK Champion. A little series we have over here that not many know about. As a Canadian, I will be routing for him and hope he does very well!

I think it's been made pretty clear to anyone who follows Troy's facebook feed (and there's thousands that do) that a comeback was never on the cards.

I have nothing against EffDuc, they're a good little outfit and they're getting more support from the factory this year which is good to see. But it looks a lot like they're just name dropping here!

Well, IIRC Sandi was almost a second quicker during the Phillip Island testing, but I understand it's good for the promotion of the series to have a rider from Canada. And concerning Bayliss... we all know he retired too early. Four years later he still would be fighting at the front.
