Would love to see JR back on the top step, but hate to see that godawful livery at the front!

I know Ten Kate are missing major backing from Hannspree or Castrol this year, but they could've at least spent a few moments on the paintjob... It looks like a poor imitation of BMW's factory colour scheme.

yeah it is the paint scehem found on the roadgoing '12 CBR1000RR. Remember this is a basically a Honda factory run operation so they want to advertise it as much as possible..

Go Rea i hope its two good results at imola fingers crossed. Phillip Island ws always going to be a bogey track so the real championship run starts now :)

I'm still surprised JR re-signed with Ten Kate. Given his MotoGP aspirations, I would have thought a CRT ride would have been a better option: learn the tracks, show his mettle to team managers, etc. I don't know what his game plan is in staying with Honda in WSBK because he's not going to win the championship with them. They're simply not putting the same level of effort in as the other manufacturers. Even a Moto2 ride might have been a better option to progress his career.

Damn good rider, but you have to question his career choices recently.

I think Jonny made a good career choice by staying with WSB. He has had a lot of injury to recover from and he still wants to become a champion if he can, and make no bones about it, he will do his very best! Also, look at the disaster James Toseland had moving to MotoGP, it ruined his career big time. No, I think Jonny is right to stay where he is for the time being and move to MotoGP when he feels he is ready and has the opportunity to be competative. Jonny Rae is not the type of rider to plod away at the back for whatever reason!!

MotoGP is a young man's game, McLaren. How old will Jonny be when he decides to make the move? 27? 28? With youngsters like Vinales, Marquez etc on the rise, team managers are going to be looking at the younger crop of riders to fill the grid.
You can't leave it too long.

Well that settles it! Since JT fell on his ass than no one from WSBK should go to MotoGP! I guess Ben and Cal didn't get that memo....

As Don-R said, MotoGP is a young man's game and Jonny ain't getting any younger. With the continuing rising crop of guys it's best he get going if that's were he wants to be. WSBk isn't going anywhere. If MotoGP doesn't work out he can always come back. I'm sure there will be team owners waiting with open arms.

Maybe jonny wants to stay in the 'honda' family. he was rewarded with a moto gp test a coupke of winters ago.. but yes gp must still be the pinnacle. i cant see him getting the repsol or the 1 cresini ride. Unless bautista bombs.
Moto2 is a great spectacle but maybe a risk to rea's career also, sniffy clue and others have struggled there.
