He might have crashed often in his early career, but now he controls the races with his enormous experience and coldbloodedness. Whatever others say, these are personal achievements of Carlos. A great racer personality.

It's good for Checa that he's been mopping up in WSBK. What I don't understand is how is was an average rider in Moto GP, but he is a champion in WSBK. Could it be all those years in MotoGP provides professional experiences that are paying dividends now? Could it be that he has one of several superior machines? (Funny, too, that Ducati has done so well for years in WSBK, but really fizzles in MotoGP.)

I'm sorry friends, but everyone of the top 5 who was sitting on that bike today was finished in victory
If Checa was riding today on bmw or honda be sure that the result was different

Changes need to be done or it will be boring

Agree with Yamaha fan, @Shay.

Checa has become the class of the field. To make the most of his talents, he worked off body weight to counter some of the weight addition imposed by the authorities. Despite that, he is still strong and has the strength and fitness to win races.

Make no mistake though, Tom, Leon and Max will be back and Carlos will have to fight for this championship.
