To whoever said Ducati is a crap bike and only wins because of the extra 200cc also stated the Ducati GP bike was crap don't you know that if Casey was on it, it would be up at the front.

Hats off to checa it's not easy to win 2 races in a day....but if wsbk is to be a fair competition they need to improve their tire supplier "perelli"...many wont agree but the tire is made to suit ducati bike and the whole wsbk rules is changed only for ducati this is why wsbk is and always be known as "DUCATI CUP"

From tvitter - Stiv Martin (ex WSBK and Dukati rider) and Dejvid Emet - motomatters:

... I am not against Ducati but Im against domination. I feel the twin 1200 rules have too much advantage.

All a load of nonsense everyone was going on how fast the aprilia was at philip island, alot of it is experience and you cannot teach that stuff! Both biaggi and checa have been doing this so long they now how to set up the bikes and control their race, though each track will be a different situation, being with the same team certainly helps also. I doubt we will ever see another rider like Spies win the WSB first time out.

Ban the 1200cc dukes. There is too much of an advantage. If they want to race then use a 1000 like everyone else. But of course that won't happen will it?Italian race series etc.A Desmosedici rr would be nice.

Are you sure you want the Desmosedici to enter the WSBK?

In full race trim with about 260hp? developed and in full racing spec and updated magnetti marelli electronics.....

unless ither bikesd use pneumatics, they have no chance

@MTB - There are several substitutes for "cubes", when they're allowed. Honda traditionally used RPM's and collected a lot of championships from it. Then there's forced induction, and 2-strokes. And for everyone always bellyaching about the displacement difference - the Ducati is NOT winning due to horsepower advantage. You can tell that from clocked speeds. I remember back when people used to whine about Ducati's being rolling roadblocks in US Superbike, until they started winning. Then the whining changed. BTW - Other manufacturers have tried twins before. They could again if they really thought that was the only way to win.

@ Rawdawg......I agree with you completely!
If the Ducati has such an unfair advantage where were the rest of them?
Ducati are the masters of this class because of experience, incremental development and their ability to put a bike on the track which is a good all round rideable package, they also employ very experienced riders such as Checa that know how to manage a race and tyres once they are on a bike with which they have gelled. I'm enjoying watching Carlos at the mo, its great to watch a racer at the peak of his powers on a bike with which he is 'at one'. Its up to the others to bridge the gap, they all have superior performance to the Ducati in one area or another, but they've got to work out how to match it, and Checa's, all round capability.

Steve Martin @stevemartin68
Good racing today, Ducati still too strong even with extra weight.

David Emmett ? @motomatters
@stevemartin68 Ducati too strong, or just Checa?

Steve Martin ? @stevemartin68 @motomatters
I don't remember Checa winning as much on the Honda Ten Kate or even his private Ducati,
when Althea got the factory Duke Checa went from three wins to 22 to date so far.

David Emmett ? @motomatters @stevemartin68
Trouble is, only Checa's Duke is that much faster. Smrz & Guintoli about where you'd expect them.

Steve Martin ? @stevemartin68 @motomatters
Checa is incredible but I also guarantee you his bike is not exactly the same as the others.
