Just doesn't seem like his head is in the game..the bike may be half the problem but to me he had his sights set on re-joining MotoGP and when that didnt happen it killed his motivation.Personally i think there are guys like Haslem/Laverty/Sykes/Young who deserve a chance in MotoGp well before Hopkins gets a ride there again.

Other than the handful of slow system shakedown laps he had at PI before his crash in February the last time he had been on any bike other than this weekend was the last BSB race last year. Arm pump is not nice and if he felt it was dangerous to carry on he made the right decision, not only a danger to himself but those around him. He just needs some off track bike time then it will business as usual.
