I read on Twitter that he's now breathing on his own and there are early signs of movement in his arms.

I damaged my C6 and lost use of an arm for 6 months and was told at the time it could take 2 years to gain a full recovery, so there's a long way to go yet and everyone including Joan needs to be very patient.
