Technically i'm from Greater Manchester, it used to be part of Cheshire, and I live literally 5 mins from the Lancs, Yorks and Derbs borders, its true. And to be honest I couldnt give 2 hoots (hoot hoot) where the grin is from. Hes a Brit and hes on pole. Go Tom, Go pocket, go camier and so on. Come on the Brits. And I know this is the WSB part of the forum but well done Cal on 4th.

@ Mr Kruger

Why must there always be one trolling ****... Sykes has basically said he's thinking about his team mate. Lascorz is a motorcycle racer, i am sure, from the day he started racing, he was made to understand the possible consequences. They ALL know these things can happen. Yes, it is sad beyond Any words, But i am Tom's heart is in the right place.

Furthermore, there is No official post paying he is paralysed, that is speculation... So dont hate on Tom because he's happy about his results, happy about his possible results today, But the entire team must still be hurtin bad about Joan. BACK UNDER YOUR BRIDGE TROLL!

Go Tom, get a double win today! Wet or dry!

If Tom can get good results in the race, a win or two!!I think his confidence would really grow and he would definately become a strong title contender. They have to keep developing the bike though, we all saw what happened to Haslam on the Suzuki!!!
