I thought it looked a nasty one, though the commentary team made little of it at the time.

Best wishes to Brett for a full and speedy recovery.

Thats two serious crashes that have resulted in c spine fractures!!

I wonder if the "hans device" would help!
maybe it would be a hindrance,or maybe the tech-air suit (airbag suit) should become mandatory in motorcycle racing.

I was stunned by this accident, mostly because of how ridiculous the cause was. He got run off the track by Carlos Checa who was a lap down and tearing around the track with fresh tyres on. I think it's terribly unfair that Mark Aitchison was placed under investigation for slightly balking Smrz while being lapped yet Checa's behaviour seems to have gone unnoticed.

But it was a horrible looking accident, I hope Brett makes a speedy recovery.

Get well soon Brett, it's horrible to hear of another bad accident so soon after Lascorz's crash.

It looked horrible, I cringed when I saw it.

There is no point blaming Checa, he was a bit erratic but it was a racing incident, when Checa was setting fastest lap after fastest lap.

I hope Brett can make a full and speedy recovery.

Jesus..what the hell was Checa doing? Totally unneccessary.
Let's just hope the kid makes a full recovery.
Best wishes to Brett.
