Get well soon - everyone wants to see you back racing as soon as you are fit!

I'm not going to comment on whose fault it was as I wasn't on either of the bikes and the camera footage doesn't pick up the incident until it's almost over. Regardless of blame, it was an accident, but thankfully it sounds like Brett will make a full recovery.

Way to go: "I'd ride the bike today if I could". Looking forward to see him soon back in action. What about Checa - any warnings?

Checa was a lap down on Brett and should have given way. Even the race commentators were mentioning in the race the lack of Blue flags being displayed. Brett would have been going off info from pitboard saying his lead over 12th and would have had no idea Checa was running there. WSBK needs to investigate this further but it appears its been pushed under the rug since it was King Checa involved

How are blue flags involved? They're used to tell a lapped rider there's someone behind them they need to let through.

The title of this article is a bit inflammatory and slightly misleading. Brett's comments revealed in the interview are much more measured - he simply explains the reason the incident happened but stops short of harshly criticizing Checa for the move. It's left sounding like Checa exercised poor judgement in a racing incident. When I read the title, I was expecting that Brett had come out guns ablaze.

Yup... Sensationalist headline. No blaming going on at all...he is merely answering questions and explaining what happened. He never once said I blame Checa. Get well soon Brett!

One doesn't have to come out guns ablaze to make a point. Checa was the only "another rider" pushing him offline in the video.

Terrible Sensationalism, good account by McCormick, a faster rider coming up the inside and having to adjust happens to most riders every race.
ELGuevo your just as bad he never said anyone pushed him wide.

the astro turf was clogged with water , it was an ordinary legal pass like all other passes , if there was no water there would of been no problem.

still blame checa, he was a lap down on everyone, running around in last place on the track, there was no need for such a harsh move.
