Wow..i figured he was out for awhile but this is pretty much a year ending injury,Brett wasn't going to win the SBK title this year but was a really promising young rider,Just a shame that his season is over because of such a stupid accident that really didnt have to happen.Hoping for a quick and complete recovery!

Maybe King Carlos can sit out for a month or two and think about his brash maneuver.

no, since he's in contention better he keep riding. however, he may want to spare a moment to ponder future tyre selections.

carlos has come in for heavy critism for this racing the time he was lapping 2.7 seconds a lap faster than brett.its possible the difference in speed was a contributing factor along with the dreaded astroturf.its not follow my leader there playing.

He was developing well in these first two races, sad that his season is halted with a bad injury so early. Hope he can recover as soon as possible, and recover fully. He is a big prospect of the future.

I'm relieved to hear Brett is on his way to recovery. He needs to be back next year. He's a very talented rider and was set for some great rides. I saw his last Canadian race at Mosport this summer and the kid is really good. He's really fast in the fast corners, really smooth and controlled. Get well soon Brett! We're rooting for you!

if your that much faster than the person in front of you, and your unlapping someone who is in contention for points then you should at least do them a favor and give them enough room, something you will be able to do given such a large disparity in speed. More speed = more room to choose.

surely the race officials would of acted if there wasnt enough room. brett picked his bike up same as countless overtaking passes in every race. the wet astro turf is the biggest problem. your dislike of checa shines through in every post you make. insert max and you come up with a vastly different turn of events.

your faith in authority only discredits your argument, try again. You would have picked your bike up to if you were about to run on to the grass. Ignorant commentators need to keep their yaps shut.
