A sudden shower forces the first World Superbike race to be temporarily stopped after three laps, but Marco Melandri is already a doubt after crashing on lap one.

If Pirelli can't make a wet tyre that can go HALF distance ..... Remind me why they were awarded the monopoly to supply?

EUROSPORT PLAYER must have a license to rip subscribers off

2 minutes to warm up lap & their broadcast collapses on Microsoft IE8, won't come back up on IE8 OR on Firefox either and is down for the best part of 15 minutes.

Between this and the adverts they routinely spam out they truly are despicable at times.

Yet again motorcycle racing makes itself look very stupid. Not acceptable that Pirelli doesn't have a tyre available but not with them and it's a 1make series.

Even if Perelli had the correct tyres there, the "one bike" rule will waste time in changing the suspension and tyres to restart the race. It would be better to have the number 2 bike ready with the wet setup! Come on, a second bike in the paddock is not going to break the bank!!! :?

Just watching the warm up lap for race 2 got to ask if WSS albeit 600cc bikes can race and give us some entertainment on wet tyres why are we waiting for the big bikes. i appreciate safety has to come first and as Hopper Hopkins has broken his foot then fair play to them saying no to racing. Pirelli whose HQ is not far from Monza cant provide a wet tyre to last 20 laps then what penalty will the race management impose, something needs to be done as fans pay a lot of money to see racing.
Hopper hope your Ok keep your chin up hope to see you at Silverstone
