Gutted for the fans that travelled and paid the money to get in. I'm all for seeing racing in the wet it's a complete leveller of bikes and riders. However Monza is something completely different 200+ mph straights and 5 gears corners, you might get a wet tyre to last a lap or 2 but not full race distance. This same problem now go's for the I.O.M TT and other ultra fast race circuits the bikes have way too much power for the tyre suppliers to give safe grip for all the conditions. Better to be safe than sorry loose the event all together on safety grounds. Monza can be a cruel place just check its history. If you've never been its a must do,on a dry day though !!

Ride of the day, Tom Sykes. riding away from the field in dominant fashion. Even in race 1 he had the measure of the field.

As for pirelli, Monza is a unique circuit. the teams 'constantly' ignored their suggestions. What more could pirelli do?

great ride Tom. FARCICLE SHOW FROM THE ORGANISERS!

Being monza you would think pirelli would have taken harder compound tyres or atleast a bigger selection. Aside from that good to see kwacka kicking up. Top ride sykesy
