I guess all you bench racers would be happy tipping it in at over 100 mph on slicks with out the slightest feeling for when a green wet track is about to spit you and your race bike off to the moon! lol

Why did the super bike teams ignore the advice from the tyre supplier? The teams should have at least given the recommended tyre choice a full try out. If thr recommended tyre was still not performing safely then and only then do the teams have the right to play the rider safety card.
The sport depends on sponsors and spectators to keep it alive and the teams and riders need to bear this in mind in future.

dear Jonesey 2 , i had to Double check you wrote nonsense ref hopkins . you said he wasn't injury prone and used the analogy he finished 2nd in the BSB last year. you then rightly say , despite missing 3 rounds . and why was that .... because he was injured . like he was the previous season in wsbk , like he was when trying to return to motogp . if this guy is not injury prone i'd hate to meet somebody who is !!!!. anyway , we lost the point which is well said effenbert . bit more straight talking and s few less has beens and wsbk may have a future .

I'm taking my ball and going home.

Every rider on the grid has a vote. The riders are taking the most risk so the riders should have the most say. Not the fans, promotors, teams or organisers, only the one's actually risking something important rather than money or a good time.
