Further infiltration of the GP prima donnas into WSBK with Melandri putting his hand up first while the real racers were ready to have at it... really sad to watch.

Maybe they should create a weather bubble over the tracks to protect the riders made of "sugar".

for your information marco melandri's bike was ready in 20minutes...and he was on the grid for the second race...get your facts straights...you are obviously not a melandri fan and it wasnt just him saying about the appaling weather conditions. If you are a rider, then surely do you put safety first....perhaps not.

regarding the comment made by wbsk fan...about putting a bubble over some of the riders. i cant understand how you dont agree with the decision about the riders making remarks about the dreadful weather conditions. How would you of felt if...and god forbid...someone was actually killedbecause they went ahead with the race...would you still sleep at night...i certainly wouldnt, but then again, i agree with the decision that was made.

According to GPone, following the Monza debacle, Paolo Flammini has excluded Melandri from the group of riders who are to be consulted on safety matters. If that is correct, Flammini is as good as stating that not only could Melandri's bike not be repaired in time for the race but also that his objections to it going ahead were purely down to him being unable to compete.
