Another injury for Hopkins?
Jeez, this fella really is cursed on the wsbk championship.
Hope he doesnt have a second round of the nightmare he had aboard the Stiggy Honda in 09. Very good rider and showed last season he can reach high if given a proper ride.

@ suzuki sucks

Another keyboard warrior who actually knows sweet nothing about racing... Please tell me the last time you saw a privateer team with NO factory backing in their first year together on the SBK circuit compete at the front? Yeah, I'll wait. The thing is there is so much more to work out than you would ever understand. New team, new engine supplier, new series, new rider. It's not as cut and dry as you would dream it to be,... Again, why don't YOU get a bike and go show them how it's done?

I agree with you, however WSB was setup in the first place for this type of team. Now it is full of teams who are not good enough to compete in GP to bring their prototypes (noticed how the kwack looks so much like the 2003 GP bike?)
You have to applaud Cresent and they look good, but will struggle.

Well the last time that happened must have been the mentioned Stiggy Honda in -09.
They where quite fast righ out of the box, shame they ran out of cash.
But I agree, cant understand how someone can call Crescent Suzuki pathetic! Good team with great riders, who unfortunatly have their share of bad luck.

@ JP & RSMick

Exactly. And Stiggy were a special case. It's not often it happens.

The thing is, these days, a team needs at least one season to develop, acclimatise and find their "groove". Look at Kawasaki last year. People were giving them stick all season, somehow expecting them to win off the bat. That doesn't generally happen.

I think we'll still see some good things in WSBK from both Crescent AND it's riders.

Just hope Hopkins can stop getting injured!

Have to say, the Yoshi engines seem to be the weak link here. The GSX-R1000 of last year was dated, but it's engine was never a slouch, as shown by Fabrizio getting the manufacturer's only 2011 podium at Monza.

Unfortunately, Crescent can't say as much because of the deal they have with them.

And to 'Suzuki Sucks', you have obviously forgotten Hopkins being on pole position at Silverstone last year...

As a ex employee of Crescent BSB Team for 7 years it hurts me to read anybody call this Team pathetic, we are all welcome to a opinion of the Team but obviously this idiot who knows nothing about racing. Crescent and the guys are just having a hard time right now with luck, in racing comes a certain amount of luck and if you are on the wrong side of it it,s ****! They are a great team with huge experience in all the guys, there luck will change soon and you my friend will eat your words who ever you are.

As usual when whinger Camier is moaning and bringing up the rear, it's bad luck.
Cant ride the bike ? It's the engine.

Always excuses for your favourite riders.
Your subjective evaluations continue to amuse.
