I have no problems with your discussions, otherwise I would not read here :-)

But some posts that Melandri is to blame (???), Biaggi is to blame (?????) or Haslam is to blame (???????) were too funny, I could not resist from writing..

You people on the island are nicely interested in racing and as a consequence you have a lot of amazing and likeable riders which are entertaining in many ways.

But sometimes discussions here are a bit weired for people without british motorsport education :-)

That mess was absolutely 100% Melandri's fault. No one else to blame he just could not take the fact that he was about to get beaten by his team mate.He basically decided he would bin it or win it regardless of the cost to anyone else as long as his team mate didn't win.

It was a racing incident and nothing else. Leon knew Marco was going to try to chuck it up the inside which is why he left room for him & took a late apex, I don't think he thought Johnny was as close as he was, after all it was Max in 3rd until the loop. Johnny was diving up the inside as Leon cut back, bang!! Nobody's fault just a racing incident. Marco surprised me though, I always thought he was more of a team player than that. Ok, pull those last corner moves if BMW are 1-2 and have a 10 second lead but not if it's a 10th of a second one, thought Marco had his head screwed on better than that, should have just brought it home for another 1-2... But saying all that... It did make it good!!

Rogerio said that Biaggi was the only one not trying. No, he APPEARS to be not trying. This is what places him head & shoulders above the rest of the field in WSBK.
BTW who is leading the championship? Oh yes Mad Max, not bad for a non trier.

Rea's split decision was 'win at any cost'. WSBK is not bumper cars. If a pass is definitely going to knock of the rider in front then, it is not a legitimate pass and, is dangerous. As for Melandri, I was standing at the Craner Curves with no view of Goddards and thus have had to rely on youtube footage which, unfortunately only provides me with enough to evaluate Rea's pass.

@zx10rob,rea went into the last corner expecting third at best, when melandri lunged and put haslam and himself wide,rea held his line and haslam cut back a little,no fault,rea tried nothing special,he was just there,and got lucky

@ZX10Rob

wow are you a pro racer or somthing? how do you know reas decision was to win at any cost? were you telepathically talking to rea during the race?

just give it a rest. It was an unfortunate accident, i suspect haslam did not realise rea was so close until it was too late. Damn shame, but blaming rea like hes a loose cannon is totally uncalled for when really...melandri was the one who inititated the chaos
