You can run with 2 riders, teams usually have 3 just in case someone gets hurt, but mostly it's 2 riders who actually do the riding. For example in 2010, Musashi Harc Pro had 3 in the line up (Ryuichi Kiyonari, Takumi Takahashi and Takaaki Nakagami) But I think only Kiyo and Takahashi actually raced with Nakagami as a reserve and rode in practice sessions.

Sorry to rain on your nasty bitter parade mate, but only those very much in favour get asked to Suzuka to ride for ANY of the HRC teams.

This is a bit of an indicator that his perseverance on a less than impressive bike in WSB may yet reap him some longer term benefit.

honda always brings the big guns to the 8 hour. This year should be no different.

I always root for Suzuki the 8 cause i love an underdog and they always put in a good effort for the race.

I wonder if Rea knows he might have to race in the condition in which there's a great possibility the whole local area might have electricity blackout. Kansai area, in which the Suzuka raceway is located will have serious electricity shortage this coming summer, and this is a sure thing. Personally, I think Suzuka 8 Hour this year should be cancelled for the safety reason. Having a race while whole town under electricity blackout, that'S insane!
