Do you really tinck the Honda Factory will take Rea to one Repsol??? After having such great talents on motogp grid that they know will performe much better because of there experience on GP Bikes.. I like Rea and is style on the bike is great to wach, with this smooth style all bet he would be good on Motogp but 4sure he will need one year at least like Carl Cruchlow.. And Rea is so focus on Wsbk that i tinck he never whanted to join Motogp, mayby is not on is ambition.

Love how jonny is getting called dangerous for overtaking someone sems to be in the same situation as the late simoncelli getting a hard time for ruffiling a few feathers motorbike racing needs people like jonny to make it interesting. I would much rather watch jonny overtaking battling with other riders that somebody just clearing off into the distance.

Judging by Donnington, I'd say he's quite focussed enough. I wanted Leon to win, but admire the racer in Jonny that made him make that last corner move. He plainly has a special talent, but how special can only be found out by racing against the best in MotoGP. Honda gave him a MotoGP test and as far as I'm concerned, they know better than me!

phil arm: If everyone raced like Rea, there would barely be any riders crossing a finish line. He just doesn't care if he knocks someone down. I like hard racing, Rossi is a hard racer (or Haga and Bayliss were) but 'hard' doesn't mean 'dirty'.

i dont think rea will go to Motogp. i think Honda want to keep him wsbk as their main man. Poor jonathan, he will need to make up his mind whether to switch to another team or forever be a Honda wsbk man. And to further that point, Honda have hired him to ride a Superbike at 8 hours of Suzuka..

I think he is too inconsistent. Once he wins, next race he's 10th or crashes... I don't think it's only because of the bike. In MotoGP he needs to be always fast to get results. Plus, he is overagressive, which is not aprreciated in MotoGP.

The danergous rider in the donington situation was melandri making completely boneheaded moves from nowhere whereas there was a gap and jonny went for it which any rider would do. If you don't like overtaking go watch moto gp.

Well said Philarm. This is bike racing not croquet. And Melandri was the cause of the last corner crash. Rea went for the gap and Haslam came in on him trying to avoid Melandri. Racing incident basically.
They didnt pussy foot around in the 2 stroke era of Lawson, Spencer, Roberts, Mamola etc, and no one complains about them. Get on with it!!
