It is good to see Melandri doing so well because:
1. Ducati GP bike nearly ruined him
2. BMW is relatively new to WSBK & has a relatively new design
3. He is demonstrating the ability for incremental bike development (Ducati GP would not listen to him or Stoner)
4. He is beating Biaggi (wish he would beat him consistently)

The race will be fun has allways.. the times are very close!! Was expecting a bit more speed from the Ninja but i tinck that for race Tom will make t better.. This track really suit Ducati and i whant to wisch good lucke to Jakub Smrz he is fast guy but on race time he need to improve.. Good race for this two riders=)

whats all this hiroshi slacking on every page? jesus christ let the kid have some space! new track, new bike this year, new tires...what was he meant to do? become chamipion already? even though he won the 250cc championship i still dont think his quiet the rider that Melandri is but stil, people shouldnt be slagging him off so badly.

British ace Sykes crashed out unhurt on his ZX-10R and missed the opportunity to improve upon his time.

I only saw this new today about he crash but he is UNHURT.. He will race at Miller and all hope all sesson!!

BMW still a relatively new bike? thats WSB talk like Toseland was Young JT until he left, Haslam is Young Leon. The BMW is in its 4th season now and reportedly the race team alone has spent over 30m, 1 more year and they will be expected to release a new model. (don't know how that works within the rules CBR, GSXR).
CRT's are relatively young but they are expected to be instant record breakers.

Then again as the main players in WSB are 40 then I suppose they are young.
