Close racing and congratulation to all riders for an excellent performance. I think though that much of the credit for the improved performance of the 4 cylinder machines must go to Pirelli for their new Super Corsa tyre that seems to wear a lot better than the older version.

Two superb races from Marco, but he could have been leading the championship if not for his Donington decision - then again Carlos has made several costly mistakes this season.

I think the title could go to Max, Marco or carlos.

@there there - I support all the riders so will be happy to see any of them lift the title - I just want to see good racing.

Why are the chances not so strong for the others?

Rea - machinery / consistency
Sykes - tyre wear issues
Laverty - first year on the Aprilia, not yet performing at his best and neither is his side of the garage judging by the number of mechanical problems

@Sick Cylinder:

Easy there, just winding you up.

Your points about the other riders are valid, but could change during the season, and Checa seems to be crashing/retiring more than usual, due i think to over riding it to compensate for the age of the bike.
