Who gives a s~~t about the flag they stand under on the podium, we're all here long enough to know that crap thinking gets us know where, but just if clarify , if you ask anyone born in any of the 4 provinces of Ireland what nationality they are they will say Irish and it doesn't seem to bother Rea of Laverty so it doesn't bother me either.

lots of great/fast riders in ireland(nearly all from the north)wsbk,bsb,road racers,pretty remarkable for a place so small.unfortunatly theres a good few guys there with chips on their shoulders,about flag waving and where your from, but anyone who knows the racing scene in ireland,knows there is no division in the racing community in ireland its all one (dangerous sport).it only seems to be a few uneducated plonkers on here,likely never had anything to do with irish racing,spouting krap

Bill,
That was my point .............maybe i worded it wrong, appoligies no offence intended, like everyone else all i want to see is good racing, so to get back to the point, Laverty in my opinion will come good near the end of this year and go for a full on push for the tile next year and if gets on the podium he can wave an Aprillia flag over head if he wants, it doesn't bother me.

@Buddner.

I know, I was agreeing with your post, I did not word it
very well, lets keep on appreciating all the great riders, and leave political flag waving to other forums.

@darren, how stupid are u???, u say bikes and politics dont go together yet here is the comment u made a few days ago.

"oh dear laverty, that is the worst excuse ever. you really arent good enough, for a factory ride. chaz should of got it, as he is a far better rider, johnny is british bob, as he won his home race last time out. i wish eire, would stop trying to steal norn irons riders. you took laverty after years of him being british and have ruined him. jack kennedy should turn to britain, before eire ruins his career as well ho ho"

Your either very stupid or just a crap troll
