Marco Melandri seeks a third World Superbike win in as many events at Misano as his and BMW's title challenge continues to gather momentum.

Checa pulled the double win at Misano last year. Biaggi the double win the year before that. In 2009 it was Spies with 1 win, Rea with the other (mixed conditions if I remember correctly). So I wouldn't go so far as to say Misano is a "Ducati Track" as is so often thrown out for certain tracks. Melandri is on a roll, a good qualifying (as he pointed out himself) is going to be key. That said Checa is going to be on fire to try and get some points back. Biaggi could be keen to get a win as well. Either way, hope its a good dry weekend.

looking forward to seeing Melandri race at Misano. The one thing he's shown on the BMW this year is that he's capable of getting podiums even from a less than desirable qualifying position. Just keep up the momentum Marco. I'd like to see Haslam do well as I feel he's a fantastic racer, but it always seems like he's floating around 6-9th place after superpole and just holding onto that position.
