What a bad joke! 3 kilograms down for Ducati, and why? Because Checa foolishly fell down from first position in Australia and USA. Checa has lost at least 60 points this year because of his unbelievable mistakes.

If they are pulling off 3kg from the Ducati, its because of a specific formula in the WSBK rules. Personally, I love the parity they've created in WSBK, with all the different manufacturers and riders, there is still a lot of close racing. Not one bike shows a huge advantage (as has been the case in years past).

@Fairman,

Exactly, the rule should clearly exclude riders mistakes. It should not be based on winning races alone.

Falling while leading should be considered as good a performance regardless. They are not taking this into account. At the actual weight there's more parity and both L4 and I4 riders have to work hard to be up front.

Watch how Checa and ducati easily dominate the rest of the season after those 3kg come off.

das boot: Of course I know about this formula, I am just pointing out that in this case formula is little bit unfair, because obviously in this season problem is not Ducati, but Checas unnecessary mistakes.

I want to point out that I am not biased against Checa, I just think in this case formula is blind and unfair. I completely agree with BallastTheTurds comment).
