The Suzukis are improving steadily which is a good sign. Knowledgeable race fans know that the margin between success and failure is very fine. This team cannot be placed in the same bracket as the factory boys, simply because they are a privateer outfit dipping their toes into the unknown for the first time. BMW is throwing millions of dollars at their WSBK project and the results are there for all to see. Jack Valentine is working on a shoestring budget. His team is doing a decent job under the circumstances, what with Hopper's unfortunate injury woes, lack of data etc.I'm hoping for a couple of finishes somewhere between fifth and tenth by Leon & John. A podium finish by one of them will be out of this world! Forza Suzuki & Yoshi power!!!

The Crescent team are being disadvantaged, not just by being class rookies, but also effectively having only one rider, and a tight budget. Paul and Jack are both great team managers with oodles of experience in many classes (Doris does the sandwiches and puddings) and I'm sure they knew that 2012 would be a learning year with little prospect of podiums. However, when 2013 arrives I think we will see the team come to prominence, maybe even in connection to Suzuki's rumoured return to MotoGP. Meanwhile, I think Camier is out of his depth, but as things are he is probably the best available option.

I agree with mmost of that but disagree Camier's out of his depth.

Its akin to saying Tom SYkes was out of his depth last year.

Taking everything into account, 'though the whole team is putting in a pretty workmanlike job, very *very* few riders would have posted results much better then Camier's yet by this stage on that machine.

Wait and see, give the bloke a chance, its way too early to call.

Seems to me that for this team its very expensive maybe ask just like ducati for extra cc's?! say 1060cc or 1050cc. if its to expensive and you let it know you get the extra cc's for sure. why not?
It ain't cheating right?!

Camier out of his depth....! Hopkins is a quality rider and not even he can get close to Leon this year. Time will tell but id say his results have been pretty good on a shoe string budget
