Rea is riding the wheels off that bike and has been the only guy to be competitive on the Honda for ages. A bit like Stoner with Ducati. I dont go along with excuses such as Aoyama used to 2 strokes and so and so is too tall or too small etc. The best riders can ride anything and thats a fact. Rea would dominate on the best bike and the Honda is definately not the best bike.

Rea's been the top WSBK rider so far this year. The bike has barely had any upgrades in recent years beyond the fly-by-wire throttle, yet he and the Ten Kate team are beating much newer machinery from much-better funded Kawasaki, BMW and Ducati teams. He destroyed Xaus in their two years together and had the better of Checa and Kiyonari when they were team-mates, so he'd already proved that he's no mug - but he's still made a massive improvement this year. In a just world he'd get a MotoGP opportunity, or at least a truly committed WSBK factory ride.

All credit goes to Rea on his determination to win and run up front. Because let's be real, that honda cbr1000rr is nothing short of a POS. What a pile.

Oh and I feel embarrassed to see a podium finisher on colors and bike stickers design reminiscent of a club racer. Are you listening honda? Change those fugly colors. It is enough with having the worst and ugliest bike.

@samsalami

hmmm i wouldnt call the 2012 CBR the ugliest bike, but i agree the DECALS/PAINTJOB on the bike are horrendous. It just seems like they got a bike off the showroom floor. Oh well its all a matter of personal taste anyway...

good luck rea with the Aragon race, lord knows youll need some HP to fight with Biaggi and co
