it was obvious from the first sessions at p.i how hard he would have to push with the extra 6kg and the improvements from his competition.still the only ducati consistently up front or unfortunatly on the deck. but i seem to remember an 'im gonna allow it ' comment back then.

yup, and i haven't said anything to the contrary. why...? because this sacrifice paves the way for VW going all in on the panigale. :) god bless those crazy germans and their CAR WARS. who'da thunk the industry of motorcycling (red headed step child us) would EVER stand to benefit from car world machinations...? 2013 is gonna be "jaw-some"...!!!

Checa has had a lot of bad luck, but he has also made a lot of bad calls - choosing a wet tyre for a dry track, crashing out of the lead, misjudging qualifying etc.

Personally I think the pressure of trying to defend the championship has got to him - he had a big pay increase financed by Ducati (not Althea) and I think he and they expected him to win.

The extra 6kg might be having an effect, but I doubt if that's the reason for his errors.

He's got time to pull it together, but he better do it SOON. He's so strong when he's on, but damn....when he's off, he's OFF! It sucks that the contact caused this "off".

while i agree carlos has made costly errors on his own this weekend is wholly down to althea. he made four perfect sessions on fri and sat.not counting the one lap by tom.furthermore from the start of the season at p.i times show it would be tough this year.a front row start and no mid pack crash =lots more points.this season for carlos is quite similar to last for max .maybe it is pressure but not this weekend!

and on a final point why is it after a good result the rider thanks the team but after the team c%ck up its very soon the rider to blame. like the really bad decision at assen which i think started this string of lost points carlos took all the flack. surely someone was in his ear saying its going to RAIN. could be the same guy who held out BOX as carlos had two green sectors up. A DOUBLE AGENT IN THE CAMP ME THINKS...
