Leon Haslam returns to the World Superbike podium at Misano after a hard fought day of racing on the factory BMW.

Well at least we know who has the better work ethic in the BMW team - Haslam. Despite suffering the same tyre trouble as Melandri in race 1, Haslam persevered and manged to bag some points. Melandri though reverts back to form where if it's not all going his way throws in the towel. Anything could of happened in those last two laps that may of allowed Melandri to score a point or two - but no Melandri decides to give up.

Maybe Ducati were right to suggest Melandri see a shrink?
